I was looking at my favorite photo selection and I saw this again. Love it like the first time.

This is one of my favorites. I love the feel of it. One needs to know, love and understand nature to appreciate such beautiful shot. It is not about cropping, more or less sky, or subject; it's all about the feel you get from a photo. It is the feel of this and this
Good work. |

Actually, I would have checked your comment as helpful when I thought about it a little more, but when I read this I reconsidered. |
Works for me. Glad to see at least the other handful were checked after all was said and done. :P |

I quite liked this when I first saw it, particularly the way the posts lead you in and take you back around the other way. For my own tastes I would have cropped just a bit of the sky off the top. |

I must agree with jaysonmc, I think more foreground and less sky or just crop out some sky would help. JMO, nice diagonal in the foreground and I like the placement of the building and tree. |

Tough shot to pull off in that kind of light; looks like 1pm/2pm. Overall it is good photo. The picture isn't lacking interest points, some very subtle but I like the elements here (clouds, house, tree, wood). Maybe a 4x6 crop instead to remove just a bit of the top sky? Just a suggestion. Hey, better than my dribble I served up this time.
Also I think this one needs viewing distance to really appreciate, moving twice as far away from my desk it changes the scene dramatically.

I had to look twice to see the tilt but then that's how I see the world. You did good. |

A little crooked, but nice use of the fence thingies and a good choice with the black and white. Good attempt, but could have been better with more care taken with the angle. |

Horizon needs levelling and maybe too much sky. |

Cool picture, but would be much better if the horizon was level. As it is, I feel like I'm falling off the right edge of it. |

That (fence?) is interesting. The B/W tone works ok if your sky was too bland I suppose. Did you consider doing this in a portrait mode, using the left side of the image? Just a thought. The photo seems tilted to the right by a couple of degrees. |

Tilt the horizon so that it's flat. Also, what is the subject. The hut? It's almost as if the wood pilars lead your eye to the tree first, then turn and go to the hut. That's distracting to me. maybe clone the tree out and take out some of the sky so that the horizon is on the top third. The sky in this one is boring and the water has most of the information. |
