| Nice mic. I think you could have made a vertical composition and still had the subject off-center. Not sure what the L side is adding here. |

| Great subject matter for this assignment, and great choice going with black and white. Lighting is good, focus is right on... the only knit I have is the background. It looks as though the microphone is inside a box or something? Still, this is nice work. |

| I like this,and it certainly meets the challenge. simple yet complex, you made this shot by off centering the subject and making more space on the frame. I like the emphasis on the mic good shot |

| Reminicent of 'golden radio' -- b/w emphasize it. I also like the shaped corner top-left & the DOF placement of the microphone. Great shot! |

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. This one is great. Exposure composition focus lighting all very good. I love the shadows and the suggestion of wall and ceiling meeting. Just enough to give definition but not enough to be distracting.
Personal: Great photograph!!

| This is the first photo that was good enough for me to comment on. Some that aren't musicians won't appreciate the simplicity of this microphone. I'd hang this in my office. |
