| Reminds one of "Pianissimo", that very fine image by jmsetzler that placed 3rd in the Soft Focus challenge. This is a very fine image I'd be proud to have taken myself. |

| Wonderful texture and very good composition. I think the yellow part of the flower works so well, I find the redish center "distracting". I'd be interested to see how this looked with the red removed. |

| Well, rose close-ups are quickly becoming cliche, but I still can't help but rate this high. It's sharp, the composition is nice, and the lighting and background are great. Good luck! |

| You know, for the most part I think I'll be tired of seeing flower shot after flower shot, but then something like this comes along. This is a wonderful shot, brilliant details (seeing the veins inthe petals, whoa!), great composition, shoarply focused, the whole ball o' wax! However great this shot is, the bordere just isn't doing anything for me. It is very small but still takes away bit from it, IMO. Other than that, Good Stuff! |

| Crisp, clear, very nice close-up of a flower. Simple layout fulfills the challenge. Personally, I'm not fond of flower shots, but this is nice. |
