I really like this, except I'd like the light from the other side so that the one in focus was more clearly lit :) I'm a sucker for this kind of focus and DOF.

This is a good idea and like very much the shapes you created with the composition, but would have preferred to see the focus extend a bit farther back in the shot.

could have been a 10 for me, with better DOF with all forks in clear focus.

nice idea, IMO i would have used a lower more straight on angle, and use a larger DoF to get more in focus, its hard because the one thats focused on is lost in some shadow compared to the other ones that are lit up more. and a nice metallic surface would of helped as well.

I'd have liked this even better without the knobbly green background. Good luck though.

A little dark but a great idea, and no food in site, yay.

I like the idea, but the focus is too soft. I think if you tightened the crop a bit on the top and bottom, it'd make the line of forks appear endless; the gap in the upper right is a bit distracting.

Good DOF lighting could be a bit better

"your task is to shoot the stuff you use to PREPARE your food!

besides that, the shot is too dark and the angle you have taken it from in combination with the pattern of the cloth and the unusual aspect ratio produces different vanishing points which is somehow irritating

this image has a lot of initial bang -- i thought "woo cool!" when i first clicked. but there are subtle asymmetries and misalignments in the composition that kind of throw it off for me. it's a really challenging concept to execute because it has to be *absolutely perfect*. i dig the tonal range though, and the simple silver-on-green. nice image.
