Got this shot in my living room by turning off all the lights. But i did used an external flash from the top. I used a see through bowl by pouring soap into it and created some bubbles. I just got this shot from under the bowl. Didn't do much editing to it except making it a little more saturated. This is my first challenge post so i hope i am not embarrassing myself :)

Greetings from the Critique Club!

I really like this entry, the ethereal effect of the blue bubbles melding into the black void is really quite peaceful. I certainly never would have thought of shooting upward through a clear bowl, so I applaud you for thinking of it.

It looks like one user suggested a square crop, I tried playing around with the crop a little, and I personally prefer the crop you chose over a square crop.

I quite like the outer-space feel of this photograph. Congratulations on a very respectable first showing.

I love the contrast between the lights and darks in this photo. Nice jog.

I like the colour. Not that sharp, though, and a bit of a halo.

A well lit, well executed picture. The rotational symmetry gives an interesting composition. The strong mono-colour works well, though I must say I am seeing quite a lot of this technique and it is starting to become a little predictable. While I think the image is good it does not hold my attention for long. Still, a good entry.

This is cool. It has a abstract feel about it.

Nice texture. I wonder what a square crop would look like...I might like that more.
