| Not a bad shot but I would say the main problem here is that you are shooting against the light, some fill lighting would have done the trick here, also those strong glares on the leaves in the backround would have been eliminated if this shot hadn´t been backlit. |

| Shame about the bright leaves and the overpowering highlights in the background. They steal the gaze away from the pheasant |

| Contrast might be a little heavy, notice the strange colors of the red on the pheasants head. |

| Excellent composition, depth of field, and color. Near side of bird's head is in shadow. Fill flash may have greatly improved this picture. |
