This shot was taken accidentally on a macro setting with all controls set to auto. The crop took a while but I think this one gets the essence of the photo I saw. In post processing I adjusted the exposure, saturation and color balance. Then I used brightness and contrast adjustment. Applied levels, then decided it might look better as a black and white, so I converted the image to monochrome, adjusted brightness and contrast again, then resized. Going back between black and white and the color image, I could not believe the difference. So this is my final cut, as a black and white. It is really one of my best black and whites I have done.

Ezekiel 45:1-9

God promises a sanctuary

The word of the Lord came to me:
O mortal, how does the wood of the vine surpass all other wood -
the vine branch that is among the trees of the forest?
Is wood taken from it to make anything?
Does one take a peg from it on which to hang any object?
It is put in the fire for fuel;
when the fire has consumed both ends of it
and the middle of it is charred,
is it useful for anything?

A very nice b/w capture. Pitty about the shrubs behing the goose's head , it blends in a bit too much, makes the shot a bit busy. Still, nice shot.

Not sure b/w was the right way to go here as it makes the duck completely blend into the backround, I didn´t notice it right away but not a bad shot.

Like the concept... to me, the weeds make the image a little too busy... but, it is nature, and i'm sure the goose would'nt listen if you asked it to move :) Lighting is great and B&W works well for this... the goose is in the perfect spot in the frame... and nice sharpness.
