 I finally got up the nerve to ask a stranger if I could photograph him. Vincent is one of the groundskeepers at a park near my house, and I saw him kicking back, enjoying a break, and asked him if he'd mind if I took his picture. He said he wouldn't mind at all, and stayed in the same casual, relaxed pose in which I'd first encountered him. He was the most mellow, laid back dude I'd ever met.

Well congratulations Erin!!! New doors will open for you for some wonderful photos. I'm still dealing with approaching the homeless. I don't know why when I'm comfortable in asking anybody else. Anyway back to your wonderful photo. I love the multiple horizontal lines in this picture along with the different colors. Good focus. Very nice!

Oh this is great, Erin! One of the reasons I'd almost rather they didn't know I was shooting them is because normally when people know they are being photographed, they get all awkward and way too "posed". But this guy. ..what a great model. He didn't skip a beat and looks as natural as anything!
