Took this with one hand holding an umbrella and the other holding my camera, which got somewhat wet anyway. I really like what it captured but I'm not quite satisfied with it, particularly because I think having to use the flash killed the shot in some ways, but of course it's not like I could sit there and set up lighting for this shot like a studio shot. I'm also kind of disappointed at how this shot loses a lot of its impact when reduced to DPC size. I don't really expect this to score very well since it is a bit rough and having a clean and polished execution is generally vital to a good score here.. but I still think it's a cool capture so I'm generally happy with it.

I think black and white works well here, but I think it needs a dark object in it to grab attention. 6

The stop action reveals interesting textures.

Good idea, but pretty bland. Colors are bland, not alot of detail, and the waterfall part is hard to see. shot with a flash? If the water was really coming off of their, a very long exposure may have yielded a little more interest

I like the way you present the 'waterfall' them as seen from someone in the city. Must have been coming down pretty hard.

I like the concept a lot, but I think you need to adjust the perspective and bump up the wow factor a little. The basics, focus and exposure are good, but maybe get down close and look down the edge of a step or something else that gives us a new perspective.

The diagonal shapes that the steps make is very interesting to the composition. Unfortunately the lighting is a bit bright and makes it tough to really see the water.
