You got the rule of thirds. But, the foreground about 30% of your picture is almost totally black - same with upper 1/3. The items of interest you have are the rop of the building that is lit, and the left side of the building with the stairs. But they get lost in the rest of your shot. |

Not really seeing the connection with the challenge theme but not letting it affect my score either. Shot not bad but not good either so I gave a 5. |

I almost submitted a similar "cityscape" scene at similar distance to this. But decided not to because of the problem I see here-- there's truly no focal point to follow the rule the 3rds. This is a pretty good night shot and lighting, though I think the car in garage has the strongest visual impact because of it's lighting--but not strong/large enough to follow the rule. |
