This is really pretty! I love that setting she is sitting in. It makes for such a beautiful portrait!
She's having fun -- I can tell -- even if she would never in a million years admit it. Tell her we're on to her, and we know she really loves these gorgeous pictures of her :)
I do feel like I know her and Daniel. I wish I did. They seem like such great kids!

Beautifully composed as usual. I agree with TDCollins about your actual relationship with your kids coming through in your images. The majority of your portraits of them are quite intimate and loving in my view. |

Really cute pose! I think the black & white works great for this shot.
And on the note of the pineapple msg, I think it's GREAT that you get pictures of your kids, they're only young once & they'll definitely appreciate the photos as they get older. Especially when they have kids & get to show them the pictures from when they were little. Keep making memories!! |

HEE HEE - love the line of this. Not only the curve of the walkway but the angles created by her bent elbows and the triangle of her fingers around her eye. |

I have difficulty finding anything constructive or helpful in these remarks, but then I guess they weren't intended to be either. Please be assured that my children have ample time to play and plenty of fun things to do. I am fully involved in many activities in their lives, most of which go unrecorded by my camera. I view as a privilege the opportunities that I do have to document brief moments in their lives, and both of my children appreciate this completely. Their desire not to be photographed at any given time is always understood and honored. |
WOW!! Good for you Erin! I see this completely different than Pineapple. I see through your lens a love for your children and that you are involved in their lives. We need more parents like you! I see a mom who not only knows where her childen are but are interacting with them, then picking up your camera and documenting and making those memories you share with you children last a lifetime. Bravo to you Erin!

surely a print... please tell me you are printing this.
p.s. I have a REALLY hard time taking photos of Ford - he is at the age where he wants to get into a KungFu stance as soon as he sees the camera... but I want pictures of him! |

Erin, it seems to me that SHE is the one who is 'working it'.......... (must get it from her mother ;) )
The path leading us to her is perfectly composed! |
