 The San Antonio Riverwalk. These are reflections of some of the 1000's of holiday lights that are strung along the river banks and in the cypress trees.

I used the dodge and burn tools to even out some areas that were over or under exposed.
There is a copy layer to highly contrasted and used at 12% fill for extra depth.
The sponge tool set at saturation/25% was used on the lights to bring out more colour.

Hand held using a long exposure so I was suprised this came out as well as it did.

Nice reflections, but I think more detail is needed in the dark areas, 6

Interestingly, the focus is not on the water, but on the lights and trees and windows. However, since water takes up so much of the image, it feels wet. In any event, you capture a nice balance here, and it definitely meets the challenge--but through a back door.
