I haven't had much time to shoot my ideas thanks to school. I had a killer idea for Triptych, but it lost out to three papers and a bloodletting final. I happened to take my camera with me today when I walked to the grocery store, just in case, and found nothing but a patch of dandelions. It's a rather dull walk, to be honest. But I shot the dandelions anyway, and came up with this shot.
Nothing at all beyond Advanced Editing here. Converted to b/w in Nikon View, then adjusted in CS2: channel mixer, levels, red/yellow/blue tritone applied with color balance then overlaid with a light yellow photo filter, layer mask to darken background (brightness adjustment), curve to dampen midtones, dodge & burn, and smart sharpen. |

| Are you sure you want them to? :) Lovely tones to this image. I'm not entirely sure I like the focus, I sort of would like to see it on the little one ready to take off. ~8 |
