This feels a little contrived to me and the toothpicks don't stand out all that well against the wood background.

composition is nice. it was smart to use toothpicks to form this. maybe a different background would make this stand out and be more interesting.

"pi" is a *greek* letter, not roman! and, also, pi is exactly equal to 22/7, not approximately!
