This is Manorina, a model I shot recently. This is probably the first time I've put my EF50mm 1.8 to serious use. I haven't really done much to this photo that I normally wouldn't.

Luscious II Filter
Healed skin in spots
Removed 2nd catchlight
Cleaned up the eyes
Added 2 layers of textures
Resized and saved for web

i'm not really the best person to comment on portraits as I havn't got a clue what seperates the good from the bad.
IMO the creases in the neck are not very flattering and the yellow is slightly overcooked, apart from those two minor things it looks good to me

Very good lighting on the subject, I don;t know if you added the background in Post or if it is an actual background, but I wish it was more OoF, as it takes attention a way from the model. If it is an actual background, try setting up your model a few feet away from the backdrop.
