 A wet miserable winter's day, raining too but the surf looked good and there were plenty of mad surfers out in the English winter. Light was awful and all my photos were underexposed - should have pushed the ISO up even further!
Little post processing apart from levels to recover as much detail as possible and a little USM - left the noise to enhance the look of the rain against the shore.
Can't compete with California but who cares?
EF 28-135mm lens at 135mm.

Very original concept. A tighter crop might have put the focus a little more on the surfers.

And to think I used to be this crazy when I lived in So. California. Nice meeting of challenge, and certainly an unusual image of surfers.

nice action shot. i think it would be even better if the colors weren't so muted looking. everything in the shot is sorta grayish.
