| hehe.. that hair.. my niece does the same thing in the morning before my sister goes after her with a brush. really like the contrast and the tones. |

| this is gorgeous ... love everything about this image .. that hair is just amazing .. her beautiful skin ... those gorgeous hands .. those finger nails just popping .. it looks like she doesnt want you to photograph her, and the part of her face i can see has a sort'v 'over it' expression .. and even tho our loved one's will put up with having a camera in their faces a lot of the time, they can get a bit fed up on occasion!!! ... my daughter says its like i have a camera growing out'v my face .. i reckon you could be the same lisa .. !!:):)xx |

| This one I love...I think this is so funky, I love the gold top, the diva look of the clothes and hair...the tonal range is gorgeous, with the white of the nails having real impact and the brilliant black hair...this picture has style! |

| I love the B&W presentation for your model's skin tones and hair really pop visually off of that stark white backdrop. Contrasts and tones are great with lots of detail to be seen. The lighting is wonderful because it picks up on her lovely skin tones in her arms and the portions of the face that are not hidden behind the hands. This photo has personality even though the subject's eyes which normally show alot of personality are hidden behind the hands. The mood is anything but playful. She hides herself behind the hands for she does not desire to be seen. We are invading her privacy by staring at her. I get the sense that she is a mostly private and introverted person just from the captured pose here in the photograph - and we are intruding on her private space. My only critique is that I think the top third of the photograph can be cropped out so that the square format keeps the attention tightly focused on your main subject. As it is here it is just empty space that does nothing to compliment or add to the composition. |

| Another wonderful B&W shot. The simple black and white combination with the great textures make a very exciting shot. Curious what a square crop would do, but still a stunning portrait/candid. |

Love the contrast of the hair with the background and the hands and fingernails are fantastic
Great idea for an image wonderfully executed although I might have cropped slightly higher to lose the bed (?) as the shapness seems to go a bit here (maybe cropping just underneath the wrist bone?) Love the tones and contrast of the face and hands |

| I like the mood and playfulness of the shot, but something about the composition doesn't fit here. I don't know if it's the negative space, or the blanket she's on, or both, but it seems unbalanced. |

| Damn, now that's a 'fro! I like everything about this shot from the girls shoulders up - set against the background that hair is great and her expression (or attempt to hide it) is interesting. I would love to see the same thing but without the bed or whatever she's leaning on - just that stark white background where she's trying to hide herself. Trying to hide where there's nothing to hide behind - I think that would really take this to another level. Good shot! |

| This has a great visual effect on me. I'm actually sitting waiting for her to say "boo!", and the image actually makes me curious as to what she looks like. The position, the hair, the detail. All wonderful. I might have liked the background (above the bed) to be a uniform white, instead of with boards/pattern showing on the lower portion right above the bed, though the shadows there do give it a type of gradient look (and as Catherine said, a bit of depth). |

| I love how this highlights the magnificent hairdo. The details around the edges are well done. The small area of wainscoting (sp?) in the background adds a sense of depth, which is goood, but it also makes the photo look somewhat skewed, as it isn't straight. |

Interesting shot, I like the bright negative space above her, I think an interesting variaton may be to lighten up the bed cover she is leaning on and her bluse and gone more high key. Great detail in her hair and nice skin tones though.
