i wish he was on his knees drawing or sitting down. as he is (standing) theres too much dead space. sitting down you could really fill up the frame with him.

Thanks for all the comments. The basic idea was to have a rough and ready image, not too slick. The reason being the woody, normally used by artists drawing with a pencil, discovers that he can pick up the wooden pencil and draw himself. Sort of like the artists tools becoming the artist, so the wooden table just the overall wooden elements...including the paper!

Neat idea - colorcarnival's suggestion for a seuss hat is great. Think this might have been improved by a different background, maybe a more contrasting color, than the wood desk.

Funny reference to the book. You should have put a seuss hat on woody!

Lighting isn't very good. Needed far more diffuse lighting to get rid of those harsh shadows. (Try tracing paper in front of your flash). I like the idea though.

You go woody, is that a slf portrate? I think a bit of tissue over the flash although i think the shadows work well in the shot

The lighting in this shot is going to hurt the score some I think. Otherwise good idea.

Oh, I knew one of these little wooden men would make his way onto this challenge. Should have added a colored wig. 7

Okay, I don't get the reference. Sorry. And tired of woody's. Crop in the right hand corner is distracting.
