What? Was I the only one who liked this?? Now I wish I had given it a ten instead of a nine. Could it be a monitor issue?? Since someone said it was dull. It looks great to me but maybe you should check it on several different monitors. Sometimes a darkish image suffers from other poeples calibration.

The colors here are way dull. I like the composition but you need way more light. The water fall seems very regular. Is that a fountain?

I think you could maybe have made this better by using a longer exposure and a higher F Stop. The water in the background would have looked like silk and with a higher F Stop more light would have been used for the picture.

I do like this shot though, honest! [7]

The water could make an excellent backgound for this shot, but I don't think you need to show so much. Move in closer to the subject, the water will still be easily recognizable in the background. Some more light would be also be helpful, maybe from a different time of day or fill flash. On the positive side, foxus is good and exposure was perfect for keeping the orchid in focus but blurring the water.
