Greetings from the Critique Club:
This was an interesting and challenging image that you set for yourself. Overall the image seems lifeless and the soft focus underscores that rather than enticing the viewer into the image. Perhaps you might have thought of a different angle, maybe something additional to the water to add interest, or just moving in on the bottle and choosing something in the lable to focus on in order to add clarity about your intent. As the image is it lacks any real impact and the background and shadow are dull and flat. It also appears that the image/bottle is tilted and that, too, is a distraction. Another approach to correcting this would have been different lighting, coming from a different angle and diffused a bit to keep the softness but add a little zing. Thanks for the image. |

| sorry although this does meet the challenge it is not a very visually interesting shot, it is kind of boring not much to keep the viewer interested, the bottle also seems to be leaning a bit to the right. 2 |

| The lighting is pretty harsh on the bottle, and would have looked better if it was diffused and then lit or bounced on the other side to get rid of the shadow. |

| two things could really improve your shot. the first is to improve the lighting. the lighting is very harsh on the bottle and blows out much of the detail on the left side. second, i would get closer to the bottle and pick something interesting from the bottle to focus on, as well as crop tighter so as to not have so much empty meaningless space. a different or unusual angle would also help create a more interesting subject. shooting the whole bottle standing like you would normally see it is not very interesting and is more everyday looking. |

| This looks way over exposed. Looks like you desaturated a bit as well, and that didn't help. |

| I really like what was done here to an ordinary bottle of water. I like the graphic quality and simplicity, the toned color and the glow of the bottle. This would make a great ad. |

| Interesting lighting, but I find the light falloff at the top and the hot spots detract a lot from the effect. |

| Very interesting soft focus study. The great curves of the bottle keeps the composition interesting. Pull the bottle further back from the background would have eliminated the distracting shadow. |

| the title in the bottle is distracting, like the soft focusy look but lacks the wow factor. especially in this challenge |

| the shadow on the wall is a bit harsh, and the bright areas are a bit distracting. Overall, good job on a tricky pic |
