 It was hard to get through the crowd to get any shots at all. Maybe this could have been better if I was positioned differently in the audience but this was very close to what I envisioned when planning for this challenge. PP was levels, sharpen, crop, noise reduction, unsharp mask, desat slightly and resize for posting. I know the mens faces on each side and the shadow around her head are going to be drawbacks for some and I wish the face was a little sharper but I still like this overall and hope it doesn't get slaughtered in voting. I might have been able to do more in advanced editing but since its basic editing I think I did as much as I could with this original.

Hey there from the Critique Club

First off, congrats on your best scoring entry to date. It always nice to up that best score and see a new image sitting at the top of the profile page. Also, thanks a ton for including such detailed information. I think that you did a nice job considering the image that you started with. Nice work with the post-processing. I think a 5.5 is a very strong score for this particular entry. More clarity would have certainly drawn a better score.

nice...feels like a bit of blur or over-processing on her face...a few minor distractions in the BG from floating heads.

A little too snapshot like. The shadow behind her head and the 2 men are distracting. You've captured the colours well though.

Nice photo. Is slightly out of focus. Those ladies tend to move quite quickly and to capture them is sometimes difficult although I would have thought your flash would have 'stopped' action a little better.

Otherwise, I like this photo!
