I have attempted this shot as well. It is not easy to make it look interesting. Lighting is difficult. |

I tried a shot similar to this once and couldn't even get this much of a shower affect. I believe that you need enormous amounts of light to make this work. Did you use a flash or an outside litesource or both? Nice try. If you get one to come out real good I wanna see it!

Flash has killed definition in the water and the subject has all but dissappeared. Focus is quite soft too, so manual would be the way to go if you have the feature. Strong light would be another requirement in order to 'freeze' the water successfully. |

Harsh light source and harsh shadows. |

Because of your lighting, the water is being washed out and is hard to see. The spot glare from your flash is a bit distracting. |

I like the idea, but the final photo doesn't quite grab me. Possibly cropping in tighter on the shower head and turning the water up a bit stronger???? |

Vertical composition helps to give interest to the shot. It would be nice to have the shower head a bit sharper. |
