 Hope this does well. I had been wanting to try a harsh contrast BW shot like this for a long time. Didn't turn out exactly as I envisioned because I did it in the Bathroom! lol. What I mean to say is the light was much too close and was really bright on my hand, any more contrast and I was bordering on blowing my hands out or making parts too black. I wanted a greay or white background but black was all I had to work with at the time.

All in all though I'm pretty pleased. The headband's a bit cheesy but this photo turned out more like I wanted than the ones without it. Can't wait to show my alt edit with my whole face in it. I felt this crop had more impact though.

Oh fantastic. Placement of shadow looks very deliberate and effective, and font just is perfect. Great job. My sixth favorite in this challenge. 10!

DPL were not content to make protest music. They organized rallies against the second Gulf War, and thought of themselves as the Greenpeace of peace. Their beautiful lead singer, who was featured on their first album, "Stand," chained herself to a mosque in Kabul. She is now believed to be in Guantanamo.
