Is it better than Deadly Pumpkin Lizards? Only the voters can say. This is pretty close to as is - obviously cropped for square album cover, some curves to darken foreground. Taken at last light at 1/25; can't believe it's in focus. Gotta love that anti-shake softeware in DSLR's.

Hopefully it will appeal to voters who enjoy weird album covers. Might have worked well in the 90's grunge scene. Or not.

Nice job, appealing grunge-scape - love the font. Could pass for a real cover!

Terrific shot and a great idea for a cover. Colors really zing and the text/title are perfect.

Actually, I can believe that in W's world. Nice job and a respectable score. Love the sky.

One of my favorites from the challenge. Great picture to start with, good title to fit the image and the album, and looks like a real album cover. My only quibble is the shape is a little too rectangular for an album cover, so I dinged you a point for that. 9

D:PL was formed from the ashes of Dfunk'd, a drum and bass duo out of Chicago. Because of their constant, almost violent, fighting they were unable to record an album. Desperate, they disbanded and re-formed with Chris on drums and Tony on bass. Something clicked. They decided the new millenium was theirs, as you can tell by the fierce confidence of their first album. Unfortunately, they made the mistake of illegally sampling Biggie and Tupac in the same song. They haven't been seen since.

i like this, but I wonder how it would look in B&W and exposing more to see some grass detail. Good simplicity and real.

so the name of the band is Dfunk'd? and this is their new album Postmillenial Landscape? Something doesn't fit right.

I really like the shot and the editing but I'm not so sure if the band name and use of text works that well for the total composition.
