 I consider this my Larus inspired photo. Yes, not as good as the master himself and actually this is just a pure Candid it wasn't setup. But after I saw the shot, it "sort of" felt like a Larus shot, of course without the amazing background.

Taken during Mother's Day. My Nephew.

Post Processing done in Capture NX.

Guessing around a low 5.

much more mysterious and interesting than a Larus shot. Looks like an oil painting. I only gave it a 6. Sorry, dude. Maybe because of the centered composition and emptyish background.

This is a very nice shot. The focus seems a little soft. I really like the way he is walking into the shot. That is perfect use of a centered subject.

He is so cute -- looks very self-confident. I love the way he is looking straight into the camera, but isn't putting on a "camera face". The focus seems a little soft.

Shame the grass around the feet is sho sharply in focus... traditionally it's the face which is razor sharp, everything else should be blurry. What you're communicating here is that you found the grass more interesting than the boy.

Looks more like a straight shot from the camera IMO but you have a really cute child.

A bit soft on the face...you can see he has walked out of the focal area.
