I did some cropping of the original as well as boosted shadowing a small amount and upped the color contrast, mid and low tonal contrasts to get a sharp, vivid result.

Thanks to all who gave comments!

This was my very first entry and am proud that I received a 4.34! Wasn't sure what to expect!

When I submitted this photo I did not have Photoshop and the program I used did not give me options to enable me to make the photo larger for submission. I recently purchased Photoshop and will be using it for submitting photos from now on... what a great program!

Thank you again! I'm learning a lot with every entry that I make!!

Greetings from the critique club!

As mentioned in a few previous comments, make sure you submit the largest size allowed. The bigger the picture the more we can appreciate the subtle details of your entry.

The colors are fairly good but could use a bit more saturation. As you mention in your own comment, there is a pretty good sharpness and contrasts are nice.

Interesting challenge idea. However the water limits the convergine lines feeling as we can't see far enough through the irrigation system. The water definitely adds interest however so I'm not sure how to approach this. Perhaps with larger submission we could see more detail and get that feeling more.

Overall a pretty good first entry. Welcome to DPC!

Hmmm. Like the linear style, but I don't get vanish from it. Needs less exposure as well.

If this was bigger and didnt have that dark spot in the bottom left, this would be sweet.

Nice, a little small, but oh well, 7 for creativity.

The circles are nice; I wonder how many people will see them. Pic is, unfortunately, too small.
