People say that brighter colors would have made them like this photo more. To me brighter colors would have made this cliche. It's the colors that really make this photo. It's very soothing. Very Silky Smooth.

Yes, I'm quite surpised this didn't score higher. I really love the dof...which may have contributed to the score...I've found that sometimes a shallow dof only appeals to a small majority of the voters. It is lovely in my opinion though. |

You were in my top 3 too - I can't believe this didn't do better. |

I love the cool colors. I have a feeling this photo will be overlooked by many. I hope I'm wrong. You're in my top 3. |

Only thing in focus is the water droplets. Not enough of rose to identify it. |

Wow, that's a stunner. Wonderful colour, brilliant composition. My favourite so far. |

Nice choice of background/foreground color contrast, great DOF. |

I like the choice of water drops on the petals - they add some needed visual interest.
A bit more of a punch in the color of the flower would give the image more impact. More dof would also improve things a bit. The image could also be reframed and shot from another angle. I know it's a flower from the description, but it's not entirely clear by looking at the image what this is a picture of. |

Good composition and depth of field, this definitely would have benefited from the use of Levels and some Contrast adjustment. |

The colors feel rather dull. I'd be more attracted to it if the rose was a more vibrant color. |

Too narrow of a depth of field really makes it hard to find a point of focus in this shot. It's a great idea, but the focus was attacked poorly. |
