Not enough happening here. There is no point of interest for me.

I think that this is vanishing only due to the crop. Image is kind of uninteresting.

The fact the vanishing point is outside the border of the photo detracts from picture. Also, very ordinary road, nothing special.

The shoulder is partly visible and the dullness of the road is just blaa. The scenery isn't all that wonderful to look at so I don't think I care for this one. For meeting the challenge rules I start off at a 7, deduct 1 point for dullness, -1 point for distractions, -1 point for the (wow effect/processing).

IMO, you should have stood in the middle of the road and taken the shot. Then bump the contrast up to about 3 or 4. Adjusted the levels of light to allow your road to be a bit darker and then adjust your colors so the green and the yellow come out some. Also the big bush in the background isn't all that wonderful to look at but the old fence is. Telephone poles really arenĂ¢€™t the best either unless you are taking pictures of them. Next time you take a scenery picture, just make sure that you know what is around you.

This meets the challenge, but not much more...there's not much to look at. As the road leaves the side of the picture it doesn't lead my eye anywhere; the little clump of vegetation isn't very interesting but is very prominently placed.

I think the picture would be greatly improved if the camera were panned to the left about 20 degrees, so the road was entirely in the picture (though still on the once side) and the vegetation would then be serving to balance it visually, without trying to be the subject of the photo.

I don't see a vanishing point here ... you've cropped the photo before we get to it ...

I really think this would be better straight on so the road leads us into the photo and to the vanishing point.
