Greetings from the Critique Club
These vividly colored 'totem poles' are always a delight to find and this one, with its weathered patina, yet excellent coloration, was a good find, indeed.
I very much like the angle from which you addressed the main attraction and you captured the colors beautifully. I do have a bit more of a a problem with the placement in the frame. Probably because the sky gives the appearance of being almost uniformly gray. Maybe a little more d&b in the sky would have made those clouds evoke more moodiness and interest. It's my opinion (and I guess that's why I'm in the Critique Club; to give my opinion) that if that sky had been more exciting, this image would have really done very well. It has the potential of being very strong, indeed.
It was a pleasure to view this image again more closely.

nice shot, good perspective, a little too dark on the bottom of the totem pole though. a bump in blue saturation might have helped |
