Nice. I don't see a need for the big border though. If the "border" is the first thing to jump out, then it is taken away from the photo, IMHO. |

Nice capture of midtown Manhattan and part of Queens. I'd like it a little brighter; I think this would bring out the detail better. I grew up in New York, and I believed the city limits represented the ends of the world, but having lived in other places I have come to realize there is a great world outside of the five boroughs. |

let me be the first (or second or third fourth fifth) to mention the border. drop shadows and 'creative' borders do not fare well here. mostly because they're ugly ;). as for the shot - it lacks some definition in content (no clear theme) but i see what youwere going for, and I like the B&W idea. a nice addition to your portfolio either way.
