Normal conversion with sepia, small country cemetery near my house, newest grave stone is dated 1932 from what I saw. This is the same cemetery that my very first challenge entry was shot in, for the Oct. Free Study, Last Rites, for those that may be interested...lol.

A semetary for Sod? What ya'll do out there in Oklahoma? hehe I like the comment below about Dead Grass... I woulda said the same thing.

There is something very cool about the way the sky is lit up in the background - I love how it tapers off into the unknown. Like all the little dead grass seeds went to the light :D Come on - laugh with me!

Love the dark tones - perfect for this setting!

the desolation of this is so well captured - the tones and softness of the image enhance the feel.

Lovely, really soft (B&W or duotone?), the name of the cemetery made me laugh out loud (not sure about the US but in the UK a sod can also mean an unpleasant/cantakerous person)...I can think of many people I have come across who would easilt earn a spot in here

This is great in b/w. There's so much that is just so interesting about this image. The gate, the fence, the name of the cemetary. And the sky and grass... well, I obviously like looking at it. Very nice.

I love cemeteries. Whenever I walk around in one, I feel all the stories lying there. This is really a good photo of one. The sepia and the rough grass gives it a very old timey look, but the smoothe clear sky gives it a peaceful serene feel.

Very nice!
