I liked your choices here; the saturation is pleasing in an otherwise dark composition, and use of dark space I thought was very effective. I gave this a 9, and I'm surprised it didn't do better for you. I did my part ;)

great subject for a selective desat. I would have trimmed the top 20% as it looks like wasted space. a tighter crop for more impace 7

Your black and white almost looks like it also has color. Especially to the left of the tiger.

Great colors in the tiger. Really like the DOF, the face couuld be a bit sharper IMO, but great compositon and choice of subject non the less.
