Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT

Location: Dorm Room
Date: May 17, 2007
Aperture: 1.8
ISO: 100
Shutter: 500

Taken in my dorm room. Not very good lighting, probably should have raised the ISO.

I didn't realize a full desaturation was needed in order to meet the challenge.

The pink tone is a bit odd for this. Perhaps turn the rubics cube a little more in the hand to show more color and not do the skin tone?

Haha... if each block was different colored as it is when it's "scrambled" the look could easily be "how do I solve this?"

I don't see which part you changed to grayscale.

What did you desaturate? The guy looks muted but not grayscale. I like the idea and composition is pleasing, I just wish you had left just the rubix cube in color.

I'm afraid you're going to get some DNMC comments on this one... I won't be so harsh, but although the "model" is semi-desaturated, he's not really grayscale. - 4

Could you have positioned the rubiks cube so that you could see more of the sides therefore colours.
