 Taken on a rainy day next to the immortal temples of Hagar Qim in Malta. Interesting contrast between the sudden end of life to the endlessness of the structures built close by to the location. P.S. The snail survived. Image unaltered with border added later.

Great picture, concept, angle, lay-out, mood. gave you 8
DOF-wise, I would have personally given more, setting sharpness a little nearer the camera to show more of the landscape from the snails' point of view

Great shot... I think it would have had more of an impact if it had been zoomed in closer and concentrated on the snail and shoe.

Good shot! In the edge of death. I found the exposure a bit underexposed and a trouble with subject focus. The snail, is your subject, but its details are not revealed as well as the boot is, by the exposure and focus.
