ps- mask on the cat, gradient map to go b/w on bg, on bg, levels, curves, some burning to increase tonal range, overlay layer with orange tint, faded, then on the cat, levels, selective color, cloned out a stray white hair around eye, smart sharpen, then blur tool on whiskers that looked over sharp, hue/sat on eyes, darkened pupils, resize image, smart sharpen, border, sfw.

this is a nice shot, the lines of the gate draw the eye to the bg (which is good) and then the colored cat bring the eye back to the subject. The only critique is a slight rotation so the lines are level. nice title and beautiful cat :) 7

Interesting shot, the off-kilter gate takes away a little from the image. Great feline expression though!

I like the subtlety. Someone critiqued mine saying there wasn't enough difference in the colour and black and white and this one has much less and I love it. Great focus on the kitty. 7

The color is barely noticeable in such a small area, probably because the cat itself is b&w.
