 This is obviously an outtake from my DPL album entry. I got a couple of Dave with his kids that I really really liked. This being one of them. If I could have I would clone outthe guitar, but that would probably be a major element. I am just really proud of this image. Probably wont score well, hopefully at least a 6.

PP - RAW conversion, contrast masking and local contrast enhancement on the models only, levels, hue/sat, selective color, desat wall, high pass sharpen, NI, burned a bit to enhance the shadow andlighting, resize, USM, border.

excellent image .. love the vibrant colours on the clothes contrasting with that stark grey wall and floor ... love the interaction between the man and the boy, with the guitar sitting just about ignored to the side .. it makes me feel that the child is THE most important thing in this man's life ...=9

Nice mood, not sure about the composition though. What's with all the negative space on the left? Is Dave looking at Jake who's looking at the Tele? Perhaps you could have made a little more of that... Any reason for looking down on this scene? I may have prefered it with you on their level. I do like the negative space above them though, the texture of the wall is great. I like the feet, but maybe it could have been stronger if they both had bare feet?
