Greetings from the Critique Club
Um, this one is a toughy to critique. As far as it goes, it's a nice B&W image with good black and white gradations, but when confronted with the Challenge title, I did think the desaturation was a bit subtle.
I suppose it was mine, I'd have given ol' Jacob a few more flowers and more colorful ones. poor fellow, he didn't even make it to his 21st birthday.
Anyhow, you got dinged by your subtle image and that doesn't happen very often to you.
Continued success in your DPC experience.

Pulls at the heartstrings. Well, it did for me anyway. Maybe if the flower colour was stronger, it would have had more impact?? |

It might have been nice to brighten up the flowers and add a little more saturation; they are so small they are almost lost in the shot and the viewer may or may not notice that they are in color... but otherwise, good shot! |

A perfect choice. Mabe a little too dark and the flower needs a little more red color. You get a good score from me ;) |
