you chose very well what to desaturate and what not to. It almost feels like the whole photograph is in color, even though it clearly is not. Also, great use of depth of field, separating it from the ground, it adds to the effect.

Your border is uneven. I usually won't comment on borders unless they're too big or, well, uneven.
