 Wow, I suck at photo.

This was from the first batch, and sadly it was better than photos from the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th batches. I needed to be wetter-looking, but I sadly wasn't.

For those that don't get it, the green stuff is supposed to be Gatorade, and the title is one of Gatorade's slogans. Inspiration.

I dunno, I thought this was damn cool! The lighting and tones are great. I think maybe the Gatorade thing was lost on some folks maybe because I think this is way better than a 5.5. (and I'm not just saying that to be a suck up either) ;-)

Hey yer kinda cute... uh..but, um, (whispers) well I hate to be the one to tell you this.. you have some green stuff coming outta yer pores.. might need to go talk to yer doc about that condition.. Shrek~e~itus perhaps?

Greetings from the Critique Club.

Frankly, I am struggling to critique this.

On the one hand, I am in awe of the site and the community you have created here.

On the other, I don't like the photo so much. Technically it is virtually perfect. I like the emotion in the eyes. It feels like "you against the world." But I can't imagine a reason to take it other than as a technical exercise. I have started a number of businesses, and have often felt the 'green goo" of criticsm and doubt. Maybe this is what you're getting at. I can resonate with that.

On rereading this, it is probably useless to you as a critique. Sorry. My admiration of you may well be getting in the way.

I was one of your 9's...I think you should suspend those that gave you less the a 5. This is a great image and very well done...the voters were WAY off on tons of photos this time.

nice idea. I'm not sure I like the pattern of the sweat. Doesn't look as realistic as in the Gatorade commercials. maybe mist his face before putting on the colored stuff? 6
