 Adjusted to get true color using eye dropper and curves.
Converted garage portion of photo to gray scale with channel mixer. Saturated colored area for emphasis. Sharpened with USM. Added frame.

I am sorry...but to me this just isn't definitive enough of selective desat. Being a continuous utilizer of Parking towers and the like, with the sun being subdued and the parking areas being in almost total darkness at times... this shot really doesn't do much to change the viewing. Hope you understand. (4)

If not for the challenge title, I would not have known this was selective desat... A bit too subtle.

Think this is a great idea, though it may struggle a bit on this challenge with some literalists, just as a thought it might have been good if the centre of the image had been B&W and the colourised areas more rounded to represent headlights

Still a good take and image on the challenge and I like it
