Intriguing Portrait!
The darkness of the face and the saturation of the color are a good mix and works well.
The highlights in the glasses provides interest to the face. Otherwise would be lost in mud.

A very good portrait - the desat seems to be used to bring out an important aspect of the person, and the portrait itself shows a warmth and friendliness. Well done.

IMO the mans face is very dark and the reflection in the glasses is distracting.
