 I love the complex geometry of irises, but I don't think it would fly in the "shapes" challenge.

Would have liked to copy the purple and White petal edge for a border, but couldn't remember a legal way to do it. people don't seem to like borders anyhow. (I usually don't.)

I wonder if I'm at the busy background limit here.
I think it is more likely I've been staring at it too long.

This type of shot needs to be pin sharp and I am afraid this one is not.

Pretty subject - the lighting, however, is a bit flat. I would also like a slightly shallower DOF to separate the flowers from their background (which is, as it stands, a little distracting).
