there is just not enough happens here the picture is fine but it lacks impact.

Not the best exposure. I am sure when looking at the subject it was stunning, but the camera did not capture the play of light you saw when looking at it. Perhaps a closer vantage point would have highlighted the seed strands better, creating a more precise image.

Caught very well! The yellows are really nice, a color I don't often see around california! Love the light coming from behind the leaves and the DOF. Could have more interesting composition.
