 Some spaghetti on a plate, with scrunched up paper in the middle to make up some bulk. Poured meths on top and set it on fire.

Lighting: A flash with cardboard snoot about 30 degrees camera left, triggered optically by the built-in flash. The damn optically trigger failed me during the shoot, so I had to pop the flash by hand during the exposure. A reflector directly to the right of the plate, the reflector managed to fall onto the plate during the shoot (while it was on fire).

Post processing: RAW. Crop to perfect 3:2 ratio. Noise Reduction. Levels to set white point. Curves for more contrast. Resize, sharpen, border and save for web.
