 I went to Jökulsárlón in Iceland the day after I hiked Iceland's' highest summit (Hvannadalshnjúkur, 2110 m) since it was in the neighborhood. The weather at Jökulsárlón was great! no wind, dramatic clouds and this lone IceRock sitting in the rocks near the lagoon.

Since this is basic editing this picture is almost straight from the camera ... adjusted levels during raw conversion, 1 curve, and 1 hue/sat adjustment layer. Cropped, Resized and saved.

Other ideas for usernames were Blue_Ice, Iceage, Foolish Ice, IceDroplets :) I went with IceRock since he's from Iceland and it fits the Icecube stuck between the rocks pretty nicely :)

Nice and crisp and very chilly feel to this. Nice I often wish people would throw a stone into the water though to get some interest in there.

As much as I think the ice looks slightly out of place - even distracting, I'm sure you'll do very well with this shot. It is a particularly striking landscape. 8.
