Ok, i went back to the only place in my hometown that is pretty to take pictures (that i've found so far anyway). it's very bland here, and not very many opportunities.
anyway, hurrying to submit this.
Processing: Raw conversion, curves. i dropped my camera at a wedding i did saturday, and there were tons of sensor buggers all over my picture, so I patched them off. thank God for the new basic rules, or i would have been screwed. i did not notice them until i started to edit. resized, added border through canvas resize, smart sharpen, noise removal, save for web.

Wow, another image for my front page! I'm excited, a 6.6...my third highest image, 21st place as well...i can live with that. anyway, this is my favorite place. there's so many different skyline variations, i shoot here reguarly. i'm through with this branch shot though for entries. the first one i did got 4th place, which was my first entry, and it had foreground...then i did it again for Take two, and i'm through now. thanks for all the great comments, they are much appreciated. maybe i'll get a ribbon one day from this beautiful lake. who knows ;) |

Morning jerowe,
Great image, your compostion is dead on plenty of detail rich color awsome sky. The only thing that was a bit of a distraction is that pin point of light to the right side off in the distance it kept puling my eye. Otherwise it's perfection ! |
