Looks like you did quite well with it in black and white :) It really stands out from the background, which makes this quite unique because normally it is a darker background with a light standout. This is very striking.

| Diminished clarity of the background contributes a good seamless emphasis to this bloom. Enjoy the deep and rich quality of the tonality. |

a very interesting study on that flower.
I don't know what the original color was, but it looks good in B&W. |
