None of the lighting issues bother me here with this photo. I am accepting it for what it is. The lady in the shadow seems perfectly lit and with her face being dark it gives it a sense of mystery. One questions her obscurity which makes the photo a little more interesting in my opinion. While technically flawed, the portrait has an element of interest to it. So yes, you succeeded.

i would encourage you to follow your instincts....the critiques offered on this sight defiantly have value but in my estimation there are no hard and fast rules in photography, you should ALWAYS shoot what you enjoy... |

Fascinating. Maybe it's cliche, but I'd love to see this in b/w. 8 |

Composition and lighting both need a lot of attention. |

very erotic shot - the lighting on both faces seem to need work - the woman in back is too much in shadows and the woman in front seems to be too blown out |

Looks like an oil painting come to life. Disturbing but also riveting. |

nicely posed, great idea, unfortunately your lighting isn't up to it here. With the woman on the L looking at us with real eye contact, we need some light to see that. the shadows on her chest and cross don't work well either, the lighting on the other woman is a bit to harsh, but we could handle that
great effort, try again, don't be afraid to crop from the R for a bit more drama too

Great tit I mean title. HAHAHA Sorry I couldn't resist.... I think the make up is too much one the main model and it takes away from her actual face. Also the lighting is too strong on one and not enough on the other. But that is JMO.
Good luck with you're entry. |

Too much eye make up on the right model. The shadow on the left model takes away from the picture, so it looks like the lighting isn't working for me |

I wish the shadow didn't split the lady on the left in half. |

Interesting shot. I am not sure that I like/know how to interpret they way that the one woman is (literally) throwing a shadow onto the other woman's face. If there was a special intent with this lighting, it was unfortunately lost on me. It just seems too hot on the cheek of the foreground subject, and too shadowy on the face of the background subject. |

Nice work but the dark face is distracting. |
