I borrowed both June's 100mm lens and her new umbrella for this one! Using the plastic tube of a dismantled biro as a pipette, I slowly dripped water onto the umbrella's surface, to get it to bead up.

Once shot, I messed with the white-balance to boost the blues, cloned out a bit of sensor dust, filtered with Virtual Photographer: Halo (faded to 33%) to soften the bokeh, resized, sharpened and saved as JPG. Fairly simple for once!

Ah, you achieved what I couldn't (I tried water drops on a CD), but the depth of field was too deep. Nice job!

That's pretty cute..
the first one looks like the Mother-drop , then Sister-drop, Brother-drop , Baby-drop...- -"(what am i thinking..)
