| love the trees and the rim of the gorge - but the lighting is a little harsh and it could really use a main subject to bring more clarity to what to look at |

| I am sure that this is an amazing scene in person, but I'm afraid that the image just doesn't do it much justice. The trees just seem to make it too busy for my eyes. |

Quite the view!
A suggestion - we "think" we need to sharpen, sharpen, sharpen, when in fact sometimes it's quite the opposite. Applying a soft filter on this and dropping the exposure a touch would have made this much easier on the eyes, less compression during the save and though softer, would have looked more natural. |

overall just seems a bit flat both in contrast and color. hard to tell exactly what should be the focus here - the road? the big area of trees? the cliff? or the sky? nothing really seems to tie them together

That sure is a lot of trees...
Needs more pop to the colors I think. Looks like a standard snap shot. |

| All the graininess works for me. There is a sense of unrest as you look up into that limestone (is it limestone?) wall. I like it. |
